How was it?

Pretty by the numbers, Dano is great as usual but a majority of the cast is underdeveloped. Found Pete Davidsons character to be really aggravating. I enjoyed it for what it’s worth but as far as “based on true stories” movies this year it’s one of the ones toward the bottom for me. It also suffers from taking itself too serious at times, when a majority of the film is about how stupid the whole concept is. Blackberry is still the best one of these types, seconded by Tetris

Tbh, the way you describe it inadvertently emphasizes part of the reason it was in fact a big deal

I cant make myself watch any of them. Just caught Love and Other D**** recently from 2010 and it might as well be called The Viagra Story. Early version of these. Way wilder than any of these seem

And it actually used Savage twice to the exact same effect

They did have a cool little simz song hidden in there though but it was playing at a billionaire coke party and I feel little simz songs in reality would unequivocally not play at billionaire coke parties
