    Those are online games tho. You must play at the same time everybody on that server is playing, there’s nothing you can do.

    I’m talking about single player open-world games where you have the option of skipping time if you want to. No need to wait hours to experience the world at a different time if you don’t want to.

    This is dumb and inconvenient.

    Animal Crossing isnt online and you can skip time. There is not a benefit to having real-time time in games. It doesnt make sense, its boring and stupid. Theres no need for me to experience 2 hours of real-time in game, its unnecessary.

    Realism =/= Fun/Engagement/Immersive

    Sorry, I assumed Animal Crossing was online idk why, I’ve never played it.

    And yeah, I’m not saying it would be “fun”, but it would definitely be more immersive. And i still don’t understand why it would be “boring” and “stupid” when there’s the option of skipping time.
