for me the movie just fell flat at the end, plot progression, and pacing was so weird and it felt really rushed. the climax was anti-climatic. the first one did a better job overall in regards to those things i mentioned. not saying the movie was not beautiful to watch, but i don't think it does anything we have never seen before in terms of spectacle.

the first movie was a setup for the second movie, and its hard to walk away feeling satisfied as a viewer when the second movie feels like a setup for the third movie.

i still thought the movie was enjoyable to watch, but very mediocre in a lot of aspects.
