    i came into it expecting pierre beats and altho i love pierre i'm happy it wasn't the case

    I wish he went all dark instead of throwing in some of those more bubbly beats. Would be genuinely interested in getting a heavily punk-influenced trap album.

    And I did like Die Lit, but it felt like a chore to endure an hour of this s*** man.

    Only songs I kinda rocked with were Rockstar Mode and On That Time tbh

    Doesn’t seem like such a revolutionary/genre-testing album as some of its reception suggested

    Is the “this is punk-influenced hip hop” sentiment a meme? Cause that was hardly evident

    I can see how the music would feel punk. Like, in songs like Rockstar Made, On That Time, and a few others they definitely feel very “in your face” the way Punk music does. I think people mean it in that way, and not really that the album sounds like an actual punk rock album u feel me?

    Even then, it’s not consistent at all with songs like Beno!, Slay3r, New N3on having beats that could’ve easily fit on an Uzi or earlier Carti project. I think the Punk vibe isn’t to be taken literal, but the feeling is there sorta
