I really think the album would’ve benefitted from more f1lthy beats. His aggressive sound matches the tone of the album perfectly and he produced all the best tracks. Also I want Carti to bring tread to the mainstream
Yes bro, lol I said to someone else earlier, I would’ve loved for this to be full of those hard/dark beats, with more of a punky vibe, but that’s only a small handful of tracks
Serious question: do people listen to this whole album for the full HOUR? Or just listen to individual tracks. Surely it’s the latter

I liked the album upon first listen but I find it hard to sit through the entire thing. Almost half of it is filler

Right—it was genuinely painstaking to listen to the whole damn thing. Not tryna be a hater, but surely this kind of music isn’t meant for the long form. If it were like in the 12-track ballpark I’d be way more invested.

Aside from the length, the mixing gives me a headache. Like this is a stressful ass listen. Idk if that was intentional or not lol

It doesn’t sound like an intentional/conscious musical choice. It sounded so all over the place... like this could’ve easily been cut in half..
I also hate how there are like no breaks in the album except for that bit at the beginning of Control. Could’ve done with more skits/musical transitions or something
After Red dropped I feel like I can't even listen to Die Lit anymore
Just doesn't hit the same.

I enjoy Long Time more than any song on here by quite a bit
I must be a methhead too because I couldn’t f*** with this album
Meth head
Not liking the album

That's one of his best songs so that's fair, I play the first 3 songs but that's about it. Think the album is let down by too many features.
I do however prefer songs like Sky, Stop Breathing, Rockstar Made etc, kinda seems like he's rapping more and I like his energetic delivery too, gives variety to an artist who I didn't really think had much initially.

the mixing is the only thing that holds this album back imo. on new tank hes screaming over the beat which is barely audible. id like to think its intentional because theres so many flat sounding tracks lol but def has mixing issues
Wait what’s a dust head
Lmaoo
I use the word sarcastically. But I guess it refers to someone who likes older rap? Or underground rap? And it's been conflated to include people who don't like trap or pop rap.

Even tho I enjoy some of the non-hard songs I really think an album of like 10-12 straight hard s*** would’ve been a classic off rip

Fax, I was thinking about this today. Like how can I go back to that when Carti has THIS

Would’ve been decent at the very least
