Man… I REALLY had this on my radar. But no HDR, 1080 in order to get 60fps and all these bugs I’m reading are scaring me away. Might have ti wait till this slips to $30-$40.

Seems to be a odd flickering bug that’s going on when playing this on the ps5. Most are getting that bug and I have it but it’s occasional and brief. Other than that iv’e come across no other bugs

I would normally be down for something like this but for some reason I just dont get excited about this game, like its world, or gameplay. Same with the first game. I wanted to try and get into it though but it just doesn't intrigue me. I think the first person aspect turns me off, even though I enjoy some fps but generally I'm way more a grounded, 3rd person guy.

Been playing it for a total of 3 hours . Tons of things to do as soon as you finish the prologue right off the bat.

This game doesn’t have guns at all it’s mainly melee with weapon crafting and mods. Getting more skill points unlock more combat and parkour options and the combat is fun. Night system is fun.

It’s pretty much close to a far cry game but mainly a zombie game. I will say this open world is better than a lot of others because it’s basically a big ass jungle gym. It’s not just open space to see, there’s tons of traversal and shops to explore.

Again with the day and night cycle zombies would be in stores in the day with some stragglers out on the streets so you can take a gamble to loot inside stores with 30+ zombies or risk looting at night when the zombies are all out on the street.

But the only thing deciding on buying this game is the bugs, there is a flickering bug on ps5 right now. It’s kinda annoying but it’s not really f***ing up the game for me.

How is the horror element? Is it more or less than the last game?

Depends, zombies don’t really scare me but you’ll still get chased and there’s still hella zombies everywhere. But the world is vibrant even at night so it’s not really that scary unless you’re going inside tunnels and abandoned buildings and there’s a pulse you can use to detect everything around you , even through walls but I guess if you don’t use that you’ll be even more immersed

I haven’t noticed any flickering on my ps5 but I did have a zombie glitch through a vehicle.

Enjoying it so far. The movement does feel a bit different, the first one felt more snappy this one is definitely more floaty but it probably ends up working better with the bigger map. Running doesn’t feel as fast either.

bugs don’t normally bug me too much lol, how bad is it?

Played about 3 hours. Had 0 bugs in the whole intro section and once I got to the open world part I only noticed a single zombie clipped into a tank lol but other than that no bugs.

There may be a temporary fix with changing the 4k transfer rate but I’ve read quite a few people have this bug on ps5

It’s 2022 these games need to start launching with FOV sliders no matter the platform
