If the game is actually that broken on a fundamental level, a day one patch isn't going to fix it. Also it's pretty weird that the devs were aware of how broken of a state the game was in and still sent those versions out as review copies when they could have easily sent patched versions.

Nah I'm pretty sure there's an option to turn off the frame cap and when you do that it hovers between 30 and 60. Still better than 30 capped tho

Idk seems like they improved the color in the environment and scenery and filter

Shadows, voice acting and sound ambience are gone/downgraded along with entire sections of the game tho. Small trade off

imo mid to high 70s is "okay but fun"

regardless, that's not a good score for AAA games in general and disappointing. hope it's not an indication of how aaa titles will be this year

I kinda think of this as more of a AA+ type of game considering it's from a Polish developer and a sequel to more of a cult hit than a modern classic

Idgaf if the story is a miss and if the whole “choice and consequence” s*** falls flat. The gameplay of DL1 was insanely fun and this looks like it’s gonna deliver more of that.

Y’all tripping over reviews giving it a ~7 when the first game got about the same and was fun as f***. Plus unlike most developers they actually continue to support the game, DL1 literally just had another special event a week ago and that game came out like 8 years ago.
