Nah the earrings I bought are real but the ones the piercer temporarily put in were ass. I had to wait for my ear to heal before switching them out

Here is the earring that’s embedded into my right ear, luckily I was able to take out the left one. Even the doctor said this is a extremely small earring and it doesn’t help that it’s hard to take out! She literally had to pull it out using a tool. It’s not a normal earring that can be detached.

I'm talking about earlobe infections, and infections are infections. It's bacteria.

This exact thing happened to me. I went to sleep with a swollen earlobe and woke up in the morning because blood started oozing out of my piercing. I didnt feel the earring back so I thought It just fell out but when I tried to take the earring out it was stuck in my lobe. I went to the piercing shop asap and the piercer luckily removed it. It was a screw back too so the lady ended up having to use pliers to remove it. The screw back was all fleshy afterwards. I ended up putting the earring back in cause I didn’t want it to close and it’s perfectly fine now.

I’m going to a plastic surgeon because the earring is so small there’s no guarantee the doctor can even get it fully

A doctor removed the embedded earring two days ago and it took like 2 seconds luckily. He told me I should wait 6 weeks before another piercing so I don’t infect my ear or harm the tissue but I’m very eager to get another one.

How long you guys think I should wait?

I think you should do what the doctor says.

I was thinking about it but there’s too many negative effects. Ear infections are no joke

not nearly as bad as @op but i had my ears pierced at a tattoo place and the guy didn't do a great job, right ear was fine but left ear was kinda f***ed, instead of getting infected it just got inflamed and i had a piercing migration/rejection (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piercing_migration), the hole literally moved all the way from the center of my earlobe to the bottom of my ear, so my piercings are uneven. s***ty piercing jobs are the worst
