old thread but yea he’s in my top 10 of all time and my favorite rapper rn
nigga doing s*** with the genre that feels so raw and genuine to how i’ve always felt growing up. s*** his new stuff maturing right with me.
his pen is wicked idk how anyone can’t see he’s genuinely in those legend conversations
Earl has been in the top 5 since IDLSIDGO in my opinion
as much as i liked i don’t like s*** srs cemented it for me
I think he's top 10. Top 3 would have to be billy woods,KA and roc marciano
This is extremely cultured
Ka, woods, roc, Danny, Freddie, Pusha, black thought... nah
Danny, Freddie and Pusha over Earl? Nah... Ka, Roc, billy, elucid, and Mach tho :kanyewell:

Yep, better music, better lyricists even if Freddie and push’s subject matter is somewhat limited (Pusha more so) they did what they do to perfection

I get where you’re coming from, those guys are definitely talented and have perfected their craft but I find Earls messages to be much more reflective of real life, making them more relatable. I’ve never been a coke dealer, so as much as Freddie and Push spit some crazy s***, just doesn’t connect the same. I guess it really depends on what you as the listener want out of the music you listen to.
