I understand what he says about the "positivity" angle and how the scrapped album seemed phony but it's such an urgent yet hopeful aura to this album even compared to SRS.

Agreed. I think the length was perfect for SRS. The album also flowed together like a project that was much longer than it actually was.

All 3 of them are some of the most important artist of the last 10 years and all have classics under their belt imo

SRS is one of my favorite albums ever made, might be hard for me to match this one but this album is still great for me. This and IDLS do very different things but they’re probably tied for me for 2nd
