Larry June/Alc is likely gonna happen before Earl/Alc
I have a feeling we won't get Earl/Alc for a hot minute

Just give me black emperor plz
I revisited this the other day....uhhh yeah. imo it came and went
After time has passed I’m really confused as to why he thought it was a good enough project to drop
Not that it’s bad but it doesn’t flow well at all as an album and has the weakest track listing of his career next to his debut mixtape, huge let down after srs & foc

iirc correctly he said he wanted it to be like his playlist or the music he puts on the car or something. Definitely not near as cohesive as previous albums, but it’s a good album with great tracks like 2010 and Tabula Rasa

Think with something like 9 more songs it coulda been classic status.
The moments are definitely there and I can’t say I dislike a single track but it feels like everything’s out of context, like you’re listening to every 4th song

I like old friend, sick!, tabula rasa, lye & fire in the hole but really only ever go back to old friend
Vision, lobby & titanic sound so out of place on this album and in earls discog imo
Listened to it a million times around release cause of new earl hype but yeah i def agree its not very lasting outside of a few tracks

vision one of his greatest songs
titanic and lobby hard as s*** especially titanic
SICK! is incredible
I never said it wasn’t growth from Grief.
Also, I’m sorry, but if being conscious made it impossible for me to feel happy, weightless, and free, I would drop that s*** in a second. Luckily being conscious doesn’t restrict you from being happy at all, and the real reason Earl can’t feel like I feel is his professional victim defeatist mindset.
I don’t really want to talk about this anymore though, because it’s clear no one is going to see eye to eye with me.
"just be happy bro"
that being stupid aside, u have no idea what's going on in another person's life, or for that matter mind. how are you going to psychoanalyze a person you've never met or spent time w lol. u also don't know his problems or what's going on in his life. people can be suffering from illnesses (mental or physical), have family issues, there's plenty of stuff.
rappers are also not as rich as you'd think
i don't think you came into this post to be mean but i'd really urge you to look at people with compassion bro you never know what's going on in someone's life
