doris is still my favorite earl album. s*** is a masterpiece, used to listen to it so much throughout high school

earl’s rhymes were a lot tighter and multi-syllabic, he would turn phrases cleverly, he would rhyme so many different words deftly without it sounding awkward, the album itself carries a certain lo-fi semi-amateurish charm to it that his other projects don’t (save SRS to an extent and his self titled tape)
