Never heard of Denmark Vessey, what should I check from dude?
Snowing in LA is my favorite song by him. Earl produced it
agreed its basically the perfect distillation of everything hes tried to do, which is why its so crazy to me everyone, including Vince, just sort of said "eh" and discarded it in favor of Ramona Park
ramona is even better

Even if that's true -- I don't necessarily agree or disagree -- self titled is still really good and not disposable

To me this sounded like a rationale for NFT’s
It's 10 min so I'd say just listen to it but what people are referring to is more so the tone vs what's actually being said
That was crazy when dude tried to hype up alch saying “you’ve worked with everyone!” And alch hit him with the “name some” 😂😂😂

"Gold is history, an unattainable perfection, silver is the future, the reality"
My friend said this a few days ago and that's what that line reminded me of
Not really sure what it means and he's off on a lot of stuff but yeah was hitting with those bars

Nahhh lol he’s talking about the love, thought, gems and gold that he puts into the music to make it more than fast food to be consumed and forgotten

Spot on because Earl puts a lot of history in his music. There’s a lot of family heritage in the music which is part of why it’s timeless. Definitely adds to my thoughts
Noname -> Mick -> Earl
Nice 3 weeks
Blu next week
It will never not be hilarious to me that Earl spent 7 years post-Samoa trying to shake off his Odd Future/“cringe” fanbase only to drop East
where can regular niggas find this I'm not trying to "collect" pieces of music

Man, that was a giant waste of time and money. Not a release show, not even a verbal mention of the albums existence or a poster or anything in sight. Went in at 11, they cycled through various dj's till 2:20 when Earl and Alc finally came out. Black Noi$e played part of a couple tracks off Voir Dire, as in the studio versions. Then Earl did rap about 30 seconds of Making the Band before bailing. He did not look too thrilled to be there. There were like 50 odd people on stage, Gala Music people I'm guessing or people who paid for some stage access on there or something, or special guestlist. As he was walking off, some guy who seemed to be important in context, potentially like a Gala Music head honcho (earlier he had been managing the gueslist very closely), asked him and Alc to pause and take a pic. Earl pulled down his hat over his face and gave him the middle finger as they posed for the pic. Another DJ came on and I assumed that was that so I left. The whole thing of even trying to tie Earl's name into this night felt odd, misadvertised and forced. Was just a club night.
Man , this is crazy, Earl seems to have an early and longstanding history of the music industry not being good for his mental ,
