That’s what I’ve been saying! Publishers and labels prefer acts who have been sampled before to be used because there’s a precedent already that they clear stuff. They aren’t gonna pick and choose, the estate already is open to clearing samples

Alchemist himself has sampled Wee before on Scottie Beam

I also doubt you can sell uncleared samples for NFT’s but not for streaming? But I’m not sure maybe you can or maybe they didn’t care to find out if you can or can’t

just speculation but maybe it’s in the gala deal to keep some of the tracks exclusive to them

Which tracklist are we considering the 'legit' one? Hes only promoting it now with the dsp release makes me feel like the previous version was an early version of the album and this is the final version

One odd thing about the album is the skit order is the same for both tracklists. Like it’s the same 11 skits in the same order no matter the version, which is the confusing part. So you can’t even edit all the songs onto one tracklist

I’m wondering now if they came up with the skits first and then built the tracklist into that

One argument was that Vince features didn’t get cleared for the nft version maybe they just added 2 replacements and black emperor as a bonus.

The DSP tracklist was finished a month before the nft release and leaked a few weeks ago, which makes the whole scenario odder
