    Album bout to be fire

  • Oct 6, 2021

Oblivion trailer still such a vibe, who's who of the whole underground scene in there too

    similar energy to this

s/o to Black Noi$e / @realestphotographerever directed videos too, such a cool and unique editing style, gave us some of the most wholesome Earl footage of the past years tbh. And ALL his beats are fire, too talented

still wish I had this downloaded 😫 such a fire flip of we almost lost detroit, probably from the same 12min RZA freestyle from which the Molasses hook was lifted or at least that same session

nowhere2go on repeat, still can't get over how insane this beat is shoutout Booliemane and Ade... hope we still get a good share of experimental production on the new album, at least the material he's been playing live didn't give that impression so far?

Earl's last like on Twitter.... Read like half of that, uhh. What y'all think of this? Antisemitism red flags all over tbh and I rly don't know about all this everything was Black first mental gymnastics.

Like yes a lot of history was whitewashed but also the whole category of races was only invented by colonizers so it's kinda weird to apply those categories to ancient history? Like as a white man I actually enjoy reflecting history critically but there's a point where this ultra-hotep s*** becomes a bit much and gives off weird vibes

Lol wut I do wonder whether he even did The Bends then, tbh I could see both being by Earl I guess there's a rawness and griminess to his beats while Navy is usually a bit more smooth and elegant, even tho both can be pretty off-killter.

His credits are weird as hell recently noticed "Uncle Al" is credited to randomblackdude even in the CD booklet even though it's clearly by Al and he even confirmed it on twitter.

Also of course we know Riot was actually made by Gio even tho he didn't get the credit

Gio is credited as co producer on Riot tho and it says he played bass guitar on that and ontheway

I didn't read the whole thread but. Much of the things she has mentioned has been accepted as at least plausible by many historians. Professor Ephriam Issac touches on it in his book on the tawahido church.

Being that the colonizers created race and stratified it in the nations they took control over it's pretty difficult to remove that in modern times. It's the basis for why Obama is considered black and not white. I understand where your coming from though but. When the documenters and disseminators of history purposefully hide, remove, exclude important information to form a narrative it's important to at least acknowledge the truth that has been hidden. Some people do go overboard with that "correction" but wasn't it colonizers going overboard what started this whole thing in the first place?
