Least fav Rap era
Overall it was weak minus the highlights
Disappointed in this take from you but I’m still going to hype your album
Niggas calling 2000's a "bad" era for hip hop never made sense to me.
There's not many mainstream hip hop songs from the 2010's that are as timeless as these. 2010's has far less "cookout" or club music compared to the 2000's both in hip hop and R&B.
And I didn't even touch on R&B yet. I'm convinced the underrating of 2000's music is a conspiracy.

Random but ive really learned to appreciate "The Way You Move" by Big Boi as i got older and far less edgy lol. You know how much swag Big Boi had to have to pull off that plaid suit breh?
compare those classics to a track like this
!https://youtu.be/m8MSCY83xcsthe crossovers have just lost their soul, bounce and tastefulness
mainstream R&B is dead
I think this about the 2000’s in general. If we’re talking about culture overall, I’d say it’s then and the 70’s even if the 70’s is one of my least favorite decades for music. They’re just the most like liberated decades for art. You could make anything.
Not really
It's not if you're young cause everything is new to you and you're still experiencing things for the first time but once you hit a certain age all that's s*** out the window.
Honestly everything from Music to Tv to even basic socialization was better then before pc completely took over.
Big facts!

That junt was always a classic. Glad you've changed your stance.

90s R&B tho is a different conversation
