Hard boiled eggs are a good filler. Also raw almonds.

Good carbohydrates like quinoa and dark rice. Lentils. Couscous salad is fine too.

I mean. Op. What’s the goal ? Lose weight ? Or gain

Do you use cooked frozen chicken??

I typically use raw boneless skinless thighs or breast, but if you have some cooked frozen chicken, definitely use that up first .

    this actually sounds awesome

I don't like canned fish at all but lox actually sound good in there

Yeah I used to have it w/o the fish but I needed to add in some protein to my diet plus there's like no cooking involved lol

Tuna sandwiches, tuna with rice, tuna & salad. High protein & inexpensive, & you can dress it up however you want.

You have any steps on how to cook the chicken solid? How long and on high stove temp??

Or do you use like a instant pot

If you’re talking about raw chicken you can just get a cast iron skillet and throw some canola oil in the pan, crank the heat up to high and sear the outside of them to get some nice char marks (should take 1-2min to char) , then in a separate skillet sauté your vegetables on med-high (3-7min)

Then combine the vegetables and seared chicken together in one pot, then pour the marinade into the chicken and vegetable mixture and turn down the heat (low/medlow) just enough so it can simmer and everything can mix together (5-10min).

Now if you’re talking about cooking cooked chicken frozen solid then I would just follow whatever the instructions on the package says. But personally if I’m dealing with frozen chicken I like to lay down a lot of butter or oil in a cast skillet, heat up to medium, throw the blocks of frozen chicken in the skillet and cover it with a top. Flip it every 3-5 min until it’s tender and hot .

If you follow this recipe exactly as it is specified you will have the best teriyaki beef you’ve ever had in your life. No Asian restaurant comes close. I made a batch and brought it to work and people wanted me to pay them to make them some as well no bullshit haha.

If you decide to do this recipe go to a meat mart or deli or Whole Foods ask them to cut you a pound of flank steak real thin (tell them you’re making hoagies) and you’ll be blown away once everything comes together.

if you're feeling really lazy buy some frozen vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower etc.), buy those already oven roasted chicken they have at the grocery stores and cook some brown rice / noodles / pasta for a few days.

Then just add some sauce. This is a really easy way to into meal planning and then I recommend you cook the chicken yourself, make the sauces yourself as you progress.

Taco bowls are also super easy to make (the kind they make at chipotle)

Yea 12 min is enough to cook the chicken, just put a cover over it and let it simmer on medium low for like 10 min and it will be done cooking
