these are some really good sources bro... really prestigious American institutions are saying these things in unison.
even these racist dudes in think-tanks are advocating for unions and pro-worker policies

"Conservative Catholics, he argues, should today claim ownership of a pro-worker, even pro-union political agenda that once belonged to the left, and which produced generations of Democrat-voting Catholic workers."

    thefederalist.com/2022/10/20/we-need-to-stop-calling-ourselves-conservatives

    this s*** is crazy!!!!

"Using a sample of men from the Panel Study of Income Dynamics from 1969 to 2019, the authors investigate how lifetime union membership contributes to earnings advantages. They find, first, that unionization throughout one’s career is associated with a $1.3 million mean increase in lifetime earnings, larger than the average gains from completing college."

    journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/00197939221129261

young people should have been attempting to unionize their workplaces the whole time :

Yes but like, that was the point

They did it for their benefit because that’s what we all do. The capitalist system worked as intended, but the capitalist system is inherently unstable

I don't know s*** about economics but I know there are big companies, more powerful than some governments, that will do anything to make you pay them for life.
I know there are companies buying a lot of real estate and farmland and making it more and more difficult for the middle class to maintain and develop a sustainable lifestyle.
That's why I said there are bigger forces at play.

All of these bigger forces invariably and fundamentally rely on the compliant and disorganized labor. Marginalized Labor is the source of their value and compliance is where their power of value can protect itself

By organizing labor in opposition of these bigger forces, we can greatly marginalize these bigger forces and make them much easier to tackle

why of course, now try to achieve that...some people are going to be too busy paying some bills before even trying to 'risk their jobs'
I know the solution sounds quite easy in practice but at a larger scale it doesn't, I'm all for this but sadly not everyone sees it like we do.

I’m well aware that it’s not easy, but to say there is no solution because there are no easy solutions is pretty weird to say

Sounds weak, sounds apathetic, sounds defeatist

Sounds like everything someone would not want to be
