Nah motivation is important for making your first souls game click. These games take time to get into and if you feel like Elden Ring is the one cause youre super hyped to play it then beat it just stay determined and dont give up everybody can beat the games.

It's a From Software game and they never miss

It's also their first open world game

There's a whole world outside of graphics you know

Thats the case for literally almost every AAA game released in the past 15 years tho, are you complaining about those too? Its not like from software is bad at making games either, they got this type of following for the quality their games always have

Why are people hyped for naughty dog, zelda team, rockstar games? They have a long history of releasing amazing games, of course people will be hyped. Try playing sekiro, bloodborne or dark souls 1 if you havent and you'll see why people are hyped

The boss designs for Elden Ring already look incredible, the open world should be cool, and George RR Martin wrote the foundation of the story.

Tons of people have already played hours of the game through the beta and praise has been pretty much universal.

This is definitely one of those games that you have to play and get lost in to truly appreciate it.

Can’t even imagine how long this game is gonna be being both open world with Dark Souls level difficulty.

FS dropped classic after classic and this seems to be their biggest project yet. They deserve this hype

yea I'm waiting. sekiro was amazing but I could definitely feel the lag and frame drops time to time. 60fps sekiro looks so nice but I haven't played that yet.

1 - Bloodborne
2 - Dark Souls 3

Amazing but a lil dated & not as polished

3 - Dark Souls 1

Great

4 - Demon's Souls

Just okay

5 - Dark Souls 2

Bonus

Most interesting story/lore/overall atmosphere: Bloodborne

Best boss roster: DS3

Best designed world: First half of DS1 but overall tied with BB

Finest combat: Dodging and moving around i'd say DS3 but weapons & parry mechanic it's BB by far

Plan to revisit it in the future so i can fully judge it, but would have left it out anyway cause i kinda consider it more of it's own thing
