i am going to be 100% honest here. not once have a played a souls game and thought i wish these graphics were better. (though i have wished for proper ultrawide modes on pc but that's a different story unfortunately)

Yea, I got DS3 as my first console game (I was hella late to last gen) and I thought graphically it could’ve looked better but I didn’t care because it wasn’t good for that gen but also it wasn’t terrible in comparison. This coming at this time is what I’m basing it off of, but as you said it’s a last gen game in retrospect so looking at it that way it can be said to be acceptable, I’m just going to look at it as if they made this without next gen in mind.

I think the different camera angles didn't do the lighting/level of detail of the actual gameplay justice
