I wasn't expecting the verticality in that area, FromSoft showcasing peak level design yet again
Absolutely. I also think thats what people gives the DS2 vibes. Cause that game was meant to be about an entire country too and it had this flow that would just take you from crazy area to the next. It had a great sense of exploration and discovery. However that game had the problem that the biom changes didnt make sense often. Like on elevator taking you to a huge magma castle that came literally out of nowhere.
Or where did Dragon Shrine in the sky come from?
However Elden Ring did that flawlessly
Literally perfection. From the Leftovers of the Farum Azula scattered througout the entire map. To The pillars of Nokron sticking out of the water in Limgrave.

I have a +8 moonveil that doesn’t really seem all that tbh. Maybe my stats aren’t favoring it

You gotta lean heavy into INT and then once you’re around 60 stop and start pouring into DEX and it absolutely destroys, I stopped using it because it was making the game unfun lmao

can you be more specific by what you mean by balancing problem? Are you actually just saying that you’re getting your cheeks obliterated and you’re blaming the game? You can just keep exploring and training in easier areas, there’s always more to discover especially in elden ring with the open world design. If you’re at consecrated snowfields that’s one of the hardest areas in the game, best for after you’ve beaten the game

Oh s*** my INT is ass lmao
I was using a dex build with high vigor that was absolutely tearing through the game and yes I was using the seal as well. 50 vigor so should have been no issue there yet I was dying way too easily from regular enemies. Everywhere I went basically I felt like I was being bumrushed by 10 of the same OP ass enemies, they put like 20 wolves and one of the Red Wolf bosses that would literally one shot me in an area I needed to go like wtf?
Not sure what to say man, I was also running 50 or 40 vigor and in situations where enemy density is that high I recall always being able to use summons to help out. I think my character dies in 3 to 4 hits too but I think I died in 3 to 4 hits throughout the majority of the game so it wasn't news to me
You are in the open world too so getting past enemies was never actually a problem when you have a horse, clearing ruins felt a little bit more challenging in the late game but when I started taking them on one by one and my issues went away.
the amount of people playing this game that don’t put enough into vigor but still b**** when they get one or two shotted
like you’re just playing yaself
BIG FAXX
I agree with the fact i do think it is impossible to a degree to "balance" every so called broken thing in the game due to the insane amount of build variety and combination we have in this game.
From crafting to weapons/armor/spells, spirits n especially the physik.
Tailsmans too
Game isnt that hard if u use all tools at ur disposal like ur suppose too imo
Honestly while consecrated snowfield was the worst area in the game I still do think it was a good experience. Especially when having Latenna with me. It had an incredible atmosphere that matched so well with her quest. Could be worse I guess

Probably running with Marika‘s Scarseal too
Also a lot of the huge complaining on reddit is coming from the huge influx of new players.
If this release wasnt gigantic i gurantee there wouldnt be as much complaining or "criticisms" from most.
Most of the time its players whining about FromSoft being FromSoft.

Late game enemies shouldn’t have NG+ 2 health and deal NG+2 damage/take barely any damage when you’re level 150 and have almost 2000hp. You shouldn’t lose half your hp from hit of an enemy, you definitely shouldn’t be f***ing killed from 2 hits. I had already explored every crevice of the game by the time I reached Consecrated and Haligtree so no, there was no where else to explore or to go besides the main path of the game and optional areas in these two main ones as well as Farum. You shouldn’t get stunlocked with almost 100 poise from one hit, it’s honestly ridiculous and by late game armor and poise felt like it did f*** all, even when I respeced to a strength build with 130 poise I was getting stun locked by a f***ing torch hit. They call me the Elden Lord yet a regular mob is able to drop me in 3 quick hits and sometimes definitely less
I literally felt like I was being punished for exploring in the late game and in a game with an open world aspect, it shouldn’t feel like that.
Actually had that s***ty talisman on for Radahn and was level 60 and got whooped by him for a couple hours
Never again

No bruh if you actually read the posts there’s been plenty where people mention they’re not new to the series and most have played some if not all the other games.

yeah ive seen some of those (not all tho) then they go on to complain about stuff that is in every other title n act like its brand new here

Like what exactly?
They didn’t have enemies doing absurd damage to your massive HP and not being able to be staggered in late game areas or if you were a relatively decent level being able to be one shotted by certain enemies. They had it throughout the game and it would mostly tell you in secret what stat you need to build up and once you did you were fine but that is most definitely not the case with this.
When you go into an area with 50 vigor and get killed by a pebble you think okay I definitely need more hp, so you come back with 60 vigor and low and behold the same pebble kills you. It makes no sense lol

maybe they just gotta realize this is not DS3 and 40 vigor aint enough
