The bears will always be overpowered in the next new area u go.

Basiacllay they will always f*** you up no matter what as you continue, as if you never got stronger lmao. Their damage will stay insane n their defense.

Its one of the reasons why i think its one of the few things that are complete bullshit. Of course the enemies even of same type should get stronger as u go, but the bear is basically a boss in terms of health, power n defense just that it doesnt have the boss bar n it never lets up the whole game thru.

But yeah, this dude will always f*** u up. Ive died to the rune bears more than any boss. Theyre always an overpowered bullet sponge

alright i guess ill go for the wall now when im weaker now rather than waiting so i can see if theres something good at the base of the tree

i heard i have to do soemthign for the wolf questline so ill go do that first maybe see if he helps me f*** the bear up

add this s*** back into the game right now!!!!

    The whole fingers

I was thinking that the (or at least one of) DLC might actually revolve around the fingers.

U know how after u kill 3 shardbearers that the fingers go into a trance of communication? The lady iirc say the fingers are talking to other fingers & shardbearers out there because some of them are freaking out about your deeds. Well, the fingers at the hub NEVER COME OUT that trance. Even after u burn the door, n even after the lady translator dies, the hub fingers stay in that trance, even after the credits roll n u dont opt into ng+, theyre still tranced. Maybe the DLC will revolve around the fingers n their communicators trying to fight u. Maybe the fingers are communicating with the aliens like how the lore seems to speculate that the fingers n order called upon Astel n the other rock aliens to destroy Nokron. Maybe thats how we get our alien DLC, and even if it isnt aliens, i think it is almost guaranteed we will fight whatever "our" two fingers is communicating with. Maybe even the "whole fingers" u showed in the cut content will be involved.

U can always ignore them too. I snuck around those rune bears that are scratching the lil trees.

Halfway thru game I would only engage with them if i had too like if they were near an item or sumn.

Good theory I also would love to have DLCs adding more endings. And I am thinking. The Elden Lord ending revolves around the "main" Tarnished who all create a Mending Rune that shapes the next era. Now what if that cutscene was meant for sir gideon´s ending? He is claimed to be the all knowing and in the final version of the game he realized something about Marika and the Elden Beast which made him reject it. What if there was a version of the game where he doesnt betray us the tarnished but he sees a way to link together the greater will and age of chaos and thats the ending we saw here Obviously this would exclude ranni since her ending is completely seperate and more of a "true ending"

im like since they already added new entire quests I wouldnt be so suprised to see them finalizing his character

  • Mar 31, 2022

Damn, these Crucible Knights might be my favorite Fromsoft enemy I’ve ever fought. I always like fighting the knight enemies in these games, and that 2nd form where they add a bit of magic into the mix is perfect

Would def be interesting, I just know sumn gotta happen with that neveredning trance n that uncovered cutscene involving fingers seems like a strange coincidence.

I also think Radagon & Markia are not two of the same as the Mask dude questline seems to point too, i think thats a redharring because Marika still has her own lore in the past that seems tied to the blacksmith at the hub n Radagon has his own past of going from sorcerer to faith bro. The pope turtle seems to indicate the statue is false n he seems to separate Radagon n Marika as individuals. I think Marika was a legendary blacksmith n thats how she had the power to construct n deconstruct the ring n has ties to our hub smith (n why her "weapon" of choice is a hammer), while Radagon is obsessed with Markia and the "God" - Elden Beast.

Im gonna be combing through thelore again in my current 2nd playthru but its def super interesting & i cant wait for DLC to add more

    FAXX

I started to just stay in on its tummy n also constanly kite around to its back. Makes it easier but its still such a damn huge bullet sponge regardless if it hits u or not s*** is just overpowered in all instances from defense/resistances to power & to health its literally a boss tier power level at all times :

the blacksmith also says that roderika reminds her of someone who was good at spirit tuning maybe that someone was Marika since we know she enslaved him. I am also thinking Melina might be Marika´s spirit since she gives us the ability to create strength out of runes and also gives us torrent which even ranni seems to be familiar with. Theres definitely something here yea

It didnt seem so to me. It showed Elden Beast absorbing Radagon while Marika is still a statue.

And if true then it has to be a split personality split body type situation because Radagon & Marika have canon different timelines, relationships & achievements & referred to as such.

the first cutscene, Radagon’s cutscene not the Elden Beast’s, literally shows Marika on the cross, then she jumps down and her hair turns red and she becomes Radagon. what are you talking about bro???

oh no like she loses her b**** man you can see that. I also think radagon is marika it wouldnt make much sense having a plottwist not be true after all. Just story telling wise

Yeah and the blacksmith seems to have a weird relationship with "Marika". He acts as if she imprisoned him, while at the same time he kinda worships her & before you go off to fight radagon n elden after hoarah he says he promised marika he would create a weapon strong enough to slay a god. S*** is weird.

Either theyre separate people, or Radagon/Marika is split personality split body type s\*\*\* because they both have different confirmed relationships, successes & seemingly timelines.

From what I understand, Marika & Radagon were 1\. When they came into contact with the Greater Will and Lands Between, Radagon somehow split from Marika. Marika is an Empyrean. Which is defined as a God/person born from a single God.

If you do the Gold Mask questline, there is a statue you come across in Leyndell which literally reveals “Marika is Radagon”

Ahh see that makes sense too then because they have canon differences of interacting, success n relationships.

Thats what my other thot was is that maybe they were seperate in the beginning then became fused, or they were fused/same then became separate individuals for a time.
