Yeah and the blacksmith seems to have a weird relationship with "Marika". He acts as if she imprisoned him, while at the same time he kinda worships her & before you go off to fight radagon n elden after hoarah he says he promised marika he would create a weapon strong enough to slay a god. S*** is weird.
Either theyre separate people, or Radagon/Marika is split personality split body type s\*\*\* because they both have different confirmed relationships, successes & seemingly timelines.
Stone hammer made in the lands of the Numen, outside the Lands Between. The tool with which Queen Marika shattered the Elden Ring and Radagon attempted to repair it.
The hammer partially broke upon shattering the Ring, becoming splintered with rune fragments
also: There is this theory that all empyreans are direct offspring of just Marika herself. Thats Ranni, Miquella and Malenia. i guess it what makes her a god. She is literally male and female and the two sides oppose each other.
Just like the two and three fingers 👀👀👀
If you do the Gold Mask questline, there is a statue you come across in Leyndell which literally reveals “Marika is Radagon”
Yeah I know, but according to the pope turtle iirc he claimed Radagon did not approve of it & how Marika & Radagon still have their own individual timelines & interactions at a point.
But what you said makes sense, that at one point they were not whole n thats where the individualism could come from.

YES see there are conflicting actions n timelines lmao.
Yeah im thinking now they are truly one always, but either its a split personality/body type thing, OR like @Skrilla mentioned they were separate from one another for a length of time at some point (which led to their different relationships, timelines & successes) then became whole again eventually which is where we fight them.
Our Blacksmith def knew "Markia" not "Radagon" too thats for sure. So it isnt as simple as history conflating n confusing the two, they def had to be separate at one point or at least a split personality/body type scenario.
Maybe Marika hates "her" Radagon "side" but Radagon eventually won the war.
Thats why we have conflicting reports of Radagon is for the order n Marika seemingly wants to destroy it. Beacause RADAGON is credited of trying to fix the ring while MARIKA is credit for trying to destroy it.
So its a struggle of both sides looking at the other as the "bad twin" with their own ideals & alliances.

yeah i talked about that itt once i made it to the final boss. you can think of Marika and Radagon as one being with split personalities that have conflicting goals from one another. they want the exact opposite things from one another but they’re tied together. that’s part of what makes Radagon such a tragic figure in this story.

but Marika was the one that won, she broke the Elden Ring and Radagon couldn’t put it back together
Here's framedata on how Jump differs from Rolling btw for those interested or confused, I found it interesting n since i been using jumps in combat a lot more in NG+ compared to my OGNG just by getting used to it, its way easier to dodge certain attacks with jumping than rolling such as Goddricks earthquakes, jumps make his quakes pathetic lmao:

I just meant Radagon has "won" the split struggle war at the point we meet him.
I rewatched the Radagon cutscene n saw what u meant (i had ppl over when i was doing the final battle so i more than likely missed it), it seemed to me Radagon was more in control, maybe. Which is why Rad confronts us n the "Marika" side is almost like petrified looking n never interacts.

Yeah, they were def separate at a time for a time, or split bodies like split personalities like Zelda in Smash Melee lmao which would approve their different actions, timelines & relationships.
FEEEEEEL the ACCOMPLISHMENT

Funny af too cuz the dude that summoned the magic guy, hes also using the broken af Golden Halbred that i think still hasnt been nerf'd
Do we all agree that its kinda crazy the game gives u basically the best rune (outside of niche circumstances/builds) off the very first canon rune boss??
Goddrick may be the runt but his rune is on alpha

Kinda meant to be like that no? Since theyre the ember replacement they put the buff everything first and the more specialized later

Its just funny to me that the very 1st one is basically the best tho (n coming from the guy they all s*** on) on a reg playthru it basically makes the other runes pointless
But yeah its an imporved version of the ember. The ember i dont think gave u stat buffs (which goddricks does) outside of major helath gain iirc, which Morgott's is actually that.
N Malenia is basicallly the bloodborne aggressive mechanic.

Yeah Malenia's sounds awesome but it's just a gimped version of Bloodborne's rally mechanic and it also reduces your flask healing by 25%
I just stuck with Godrick's

Same LMAO, Goddrick was secretly the alpha chad the whole entire time n put us thru the entire journey
BTW I found a way to recreate the GOAT Fallen Knight armor from DS3 in Elden Ring btw for my NG+ run

Still not as good as the GOAT but ER edition is good enough

Fallen Knight & Alva Set are the pinnacle of male armor design bro & theyre pieces are highly swappable for Fashion Souls they should have just drag n dropped them into ER from DS3, at least just gimme the helmets from the two they go with almost anything
