Should I play Bloodborne or Demon's Souls remake after this?

Any of them are fine. If youre looking for closes experience to Elden Ring tho then it would be Dark Souls 3.

Bloodborne is a better game than Demons Souls, but the Demons remake looks amazing graphically. And bonus: Dark Souls 1 n 2 Remasters hold up but are more clunky n buggy due to being older.

I would play them last if i was in your situation with what i know about them atm.

I would play 3 then 1 then 2.
Because 3 imo is genuinely way better than the other two, n 2 is objectively the worst out the "Soulsverse" although still good. So I would play the modern era (which starts with Bloodborne) first then the old era (DS1, DS2 & OG Demons).

Would also give you more to appreciate with their advances. Some of the old era have really annoying hangups nowadays n might burn u out.

But yeah, DS3 is the closes in experience n gameplay to ER. Sekiro is the most different to Elden Ring.

Bloodborne & Elden Ring are imo the two best FS games. HMs to Sekiro & DS3.

Hope my opinion n explanation helps ur decision. My other suggestion would be - just play whatever next that genuinely interests you the most. Half of the thing that helps u push thru a FS game challenges is how much you're genuinely into it & the world.

I mean you could always play the OG but most ppl wouldnt even get a ton of the references or easter eggs in 3 even if they have played 1

And 3 is where they perfected the DS combat and boss design anyway

I played BB first (my first ever FS souls game n what made me buy a PS4) then DS3 then Sekiro as they came out, then I went backwards n played DS2 then DS1 for the first time in anticipation for Elden Ring back in 2021 or 2020.

Playing DS2 n DS1 seeing where the links n references come from in DS3 was awesome. It didnt fill in any gaps but was more like extended trivia since DS3 does a good job reintegrating everything in the lore.

It is also hilarious n cool to see how DS3 describes DS2 items since DS2 takes place in a different era & kingdom apart from DS1 & before DS3.

DS3 has the GOAT armors but its basically all the good armors from 1 n 2 plus its own while Elden Ring started from scratch again like how DS1 did from Demons. Unfair to compare but the ER armor in the potential DLCs n sequel will probably go crazy

S*** is so heat i love the f***ed up warrior that been thru some s*** look s*** is clean. I also love the Melted armor set & the Exile armor set (minus the helmet) in ER

My main reason for Bloodborne next tbh is bc I have it free via PS Plus -- the other ones I'd have to spend money on, so in the case I get burnt out on FS I'd rather get burnt out without spending money lol

ER n BB are tied as my favs of FS n games in general so not a bad call imo, ER is basically a hodge podge "greatest hits" of everything they did previously from Demons to Sekiro so it'll still be familiar to a degree too.

Then if u fuxx with BB then u can justify spending more time/money on the rest of the "soulsverse"

Just remember that BB relies on being very aggressive & dodging, there are no shields besides a joke easter egg one that does nothing, & its combat is a bit faster. Plus it uses early era guns for PARRYING but NOT for DAMAGING. Its still melee focused.

Keep those small changes in mind then u should be good to go

Still gotta finish ER though. I'm on Elden Beast, also wanna beat Melania before putting it down but pretty much get wrecked at the start of the second phase every time.

Kinda wanna go for the platinum but getting every legendary item sounds like a bit of a chore
