Yeah, Elden Beast was one of those cases where the fight’s kind of easy but overly tedious cause of how far he travels

I didn’t say all that lol dramatic ass. I’ve died to EB plenty but I don’t think this fight NEEDS Torrent. A lot of his AOE attacks would be negated just by being able to run away on torrent

Also I think people should enjoy the music and vibe of it more. Its more like the Moon Presence than an actual challenge

Its not like its this super engaging thrilling fight without him though, It wouldnt drastically change the fight or even make It easier, It wouldve made it shorter, not in an artificial way, but by getting rid of the annoying run up to a boss that moves around a huge arena very frequently. Plus adding him in the grand finale wouldve made it even more impactful since hes been your companion from the very beginning, looking around while rising him and seeing elden beast's attacks up above wouldve been amazing, and jumping its attacks very cinematic. When i first fought It i was immediately trying to summon torrent because It just felt designed for him

I can assure you that is not the case lmfao, in fact i had to use latenna BECAUSE he was floating around excessively and she could deal him some damage from afar. I agree its a cinematic fight more than a challenging one, but that makes the tedious run up to him even more noticeable

That fight goes from D tier to solid B tier just by adding an optional torrent summon. Crazy cause radagon is borderline perfection instead

But yeah Elden Beast as a fight kinda sucks ass but it's really cool as a spectacle so it's fine. I agree that the horse would have made it better.

Real final boss will come with the DLC anyway

Especially after Radagon, tht was a great fight in comparison
