Switched one of my builds from Str/fth/arc to mainly Arc/Dex/Faith.

I can use more or less all the stuff I been using outside of 2 or 3 Str based weapons.

Mainly plan on using the Obsidian Lamina, and Beast Claws still scale well with arc/dex.

Idk what incantations to pair up with though. I was mainly using Frenzy Flame and Beast incantations. I could still use them and just use the Dragon Communion Seal so it scales off my arc

I do wanna use some Bloodflame incantations to go with the theme of the build, but they suck. The one incantation seems to be tied to the final dlc boss questline

Also anyone got a 10+ Dragon Communion Seal? Cant get mine to +10 w/o going to ng+

Lol, I came across that one, saw how little damage I was doing and noped out somewhere else lol. So far all dragons have been bleed immune, which basically makes it impossible for my dual dagger Elden Lord to kill them, alas.

On a different note, getting back into the game 2 years later with the DLC has made me reconsider just how much I loved my time with Elden Ring. As grating as some of my issues were when I beat it (constantly blueballing the player with an ending and then continuing, insane length combined with somewhat repetitive side content, messy difficulty), some of my favourite gaming memories come from my time with this game. A lot of it is just small findings and clevel design surprises. I really felt like I was on an adventure every time I played the game. Those issues that I mentioned - might not have been quite so bad honestly. I think not knowing just how big the game was and the fact it was my first Souls-like (I only played a little bit of DS1 before) stressed me out. RN, I'm having a grand time with Shadow of the Erdtree. I think it's just about living up to the hype so far, we'll see how it gets later. I'm low-key just vibing to all the new areas and taking in as much as I can. Beat this monk guy last night, bro really came at me with them hands when I slashed him a couple times with the Reduvia AoW and he died lmaooo. His weapon is dope though.

Knowing this lore would have all be part of the base game and nothing new was written i think its interesting to view Miquella and Radahn as basically the "main rival" to us and the tarnished as a whole.

It matches up quite will with the original idea that none of the demigods were able to replace Marika . He is literally the archetype genius rival being the closest to become a god. While we wouldve helped him with that, since we follow Marikas plan in the end we triumph over our rival. Ending the story with whatever idea us and the other tarnished (Fia, Goldmask or Dungeater) came up with just as Marika wanted.

yeah I used to do this and still do sometimes :/ I googled the new staffs a few hours into the dlc but it’s always better blind so I regret it after too

my biggest personal issue with Elden ring is in my first playthrough I constantly found a new weapon, respecced into it and then the build turned out trash Always regretted it since it kinda made my character lose their identity

Second playthroughs I usually stick with a build and have a much better time
