Would honestly love to see them tackle some sci-fi horror s***. Can only imagine how cool the boss designs would be from FromSoft in a futuristic sci-fi setting.
Im hoping for this. Only way they could do a spiritual successor to Bloodborne is if they would get rid of the Gothic Victorian era (pains me to say). Do a brand new setting in both timeline and aesthetic, new characters etc so no actual ties to BB, but keep the cosmic horror element
That being said my dream Fromsoft souls game would be an Ancient Egypt setting. Nobody would pull of that vibe the same way Miyazaki could
Hell no and im a huge FS glazer
It has some of their best fights but def not all S-tier let’s be real
You saying a boss like that Putrescent Knight and Gaius are up there with the best of the best bosses they ever did
Bayle instead of Gaius
F*** the tree
L
I love how Elden Rings vibe is to be larger and more spectacular than anything ever in a from soft game.
However I hope that isnt the permanent direction. They got the staff now to work on multiple projects I hope one of them goes a bit back into the old eras. Sekiro, Amored Core 6 and now Elden Ring got a bit too many lightshows going on I feel like its in the verge of losing what makes it special
At the same time Miyazaki the goat he knows better what I want than I do
yall fw the fit?
pants aren't perfect but i need that 51 poise. might start my first ng+ run with this set up

I love Emir Ilim and Belurats arabic influence. Ruins of Rauh got that hanging gardens of babylon vibe too.
I hope this is from Soft dipping their toe into these aesthetics cause there is alot of potential.

Yeah I loved those areas too.
Any tips on what to play next after finishing the DLC? Need that same feeling of exploration/discovery, but feel like I’ve played every game that’s similar 😩

With how the Shadow of the Erdtree is the middle part of the Lands Between just covered up and shunned away, it would have been way cooler if we touched Miquelles husk and then an entire new land piece appeared on the base game map
I understand why it didnt happen like that and the DLC ended being way bigger than originally planned so its not a perfect fit any more besides some of the upper edges - but i would of still accepted if its just like a big ass island
Still very cool tho and im glad its not exactly like time travel or its own pocket dimension. Although there is def a different rate of time being experienced there, it seems.
Also Mohg holds the biggest L in all of Fromsoft lmao
Bro the final boss of this dlc taking my soul away
Level 210 bloodfiends arm and everything its just the light show at phase two thats really annoying

It's definitely them lights that make it so hard. Ngl at one point I almost fell a tear out of frustration but I had made some good progress and finally beat him later that night (at like 3 AM after a few days of tries). Only Malenia had done this to me previously.
