The problem is that Americans can’t critically think. They see “black man does crime” and think “black man bad because crime bad.” There’s no critical thinking and there’s no place where any sort of a***ysis occurs. It’s just kneejerk.

I'm not saying whether or not they're "really" being censored. I'm just saying when you see conservatives posting heinous s***, just remember many of them would be posting significantly worse stuff if they didn't have that specter looming over them.
true

God damn this s*** was crazy
Nah, lots of white Americans are around black Americans all the time and intuit that it's fine. This is a very diverse country. Saying Americans can't think critically implies you need to logic your way into better race relations or something weird. We could prob just do a jobs program and overhaul policing/incarceration and fix most of those things without pretending your mind palace matters all that much. When people integrate and have a quality of life the racist stuff isn't going to win out. Segregation and insecurity allow bigotry to thrive.
But yeah this person said "Americans can't think critically" which is just stupid patronization.
I don't think it's about Americans ability to think or not think critically, it's about propaganda used to spread white supremacist ideology needed to uphold the material base of capitalism, that and of course the class structure itself producing those beliefs spontaneously as well.
Actually a bunch of Americans know this.
I’d argue not enough , especially in the older gen

some dude unironically believed in the 13/52 s***
what that post misses however, is that partially the reason why arguments like that have any support or believers is because it’s disguised as objective observation
What is this related to?
the 13%, 50% talking point
just an entirely ignorant thing to use to disparage an oppressed people

You mean “Hell Hitler 1488 da j00s((()))”. type s***?
not necessarily, no. I'm just saying vastly underestimate how much vitriol some sects of people (namely conservatives) have toward certain social issues or other ideas. Like for example, Steve Bannon got his podcast banned (not twitter, but same idea) for saying something along the lines of if this country wasn't a banana republic, Fauci would be murdered for being a public enemy. People may look at stuff like this and be like "that's just hyperbole" - it's not, a lot of people really believe this stuff. The same could be said about anything - you think the current comments about gays/transgenders/etc on twitter are vile? I guarantee you only 25% of these people aren't holding back. Same with numerous other issues.

My mind has changed slightly about this certain point
I believe the larger concept of white supremacy is not tied down to capitalism, it existed long before, due to isolation
However the modern version we know was adapted to capitalism

Tribalism always existed, even in hunter-gatherer societies, but white supremacy as an ideology and a system written into law didn't exist before African chattel slavery specifically.

@team honestly a great idea. Adding a authentication process for new users to make sure they’re legit
Im sure authentication for every person on the internet wouldnt lead to cyberbullying, harassment and stalking. Fantastic Idea as expect from our innovative genius
