rather lateYeah but your everyday life is 99% fine, according to the pyramid of needs, ofcourse you’ll be fine. But theres billions of people living in actual poverty, who need direct help.

we can do both of these things at the same time
we do not need to stop funding research in space to feed people in poverty
space research is dramatically underfunded compared to other research areas
and in fact, often in unexpected ways, alot of the technologies developed for space exploration, we end up using in our daily lives
the list of technologies we use is very long, you can google it if you’d like
not to mention the necessity to have the ability to live beyond earth, because its not a matter of if, but when something will destroy all life here on earth
