HaroldsChickenPeople really don't care about the truth anymore so much as partisan s***. Like its hyper partisan. Both sides the truth can come out about either side and they will immediately try to discredit or frame it to fit whatever they believe. Whether it be discrediting the journalist, platform, source whatever it may be. People rather accept that than the idea they could even possibly be in anyway be manipulated by either party. All while living in their respective echo chamber. Then we got fact checkers and content warnings also compromised

I agree, I believe "impartiality" doesn't exist, it literally can't exist, the personal views of an individual will always influence their output
You can reduce it, but you can't be robotic and completely remove yourself, because that information is tainted by some type of personal bias in how it is perceived.
it's not really about whether or not neutrality exists (it obviously doesn't), it's more that institutions feign neutrality and then everyone plays pretend that they are when in reality everyone knows they aren't, including said institutions themselves

well that's why i said "it seems like a nothingburger". obviously the reason most people don't care is because half the people who "would care" literally supported the original action anyway. what are they gonna do, be like "actually this thing we supported is wrong because...you showed an email exposing that we supported it?"
it's not a shocker to anyone because EVERYONE knew it was happening. it's only "shocking" in the sense that they were brazen enough to know their feign of neutrality was bullshit (which again everyone knew)

Aside from the Hunter stuff, I don't get how you can care about stuff like this at all, but people are eating it up, I mean I like KTT2 but I'm totally indifferent to how much traffic it receives, but Elon fans are buzzing about this as if their team just won a game
