i'm gonna be honest everyone know this was happening for years which is why it seems like such a nothingburger if twitter had simply openly admitted this was happening instead of acting like it didn't barely anyone would care
Is it really making waves tho? Lmao even Fox News covered the laptop story very lightly. We gonna claim they tried to hide it too?

Yeah, people have known the content for years already
it's not new info, I don't know it keeps getting rehashed
People really don't care about the truth anymore so much as partisan s***. Like its hyper partisan. Both sides the truth can come out about either side and they will immediately try to discredit or frame it to fit whatever they believe. Whether it be discrediting the journalist, platform, source whatever it may be. People rather accept that than the idea they could even possibly be in anyway be manipulated by either party. All while living in their respective echo chamber. Then we got fact checkers and content warnings also compromised in short we are f***ed
People never cared about a singular truth though?

you think Fox News covered it lightly? are you joking
People never cared about a singular truth though?
both sides do act like they care about truth and freedom of press . Do they ? No.
The thing I'm wondering at this point is when Musk will finally pull out and sell it off
I agree, I believe "impartiality" doesn't exist, it literally can't exist, the personal views of an individual will always influence their output
You can reduce it, but you can't be robotic and completely remove yourself, because that information is tainted by some type of personal bias in how it is perceived.
it's not really about whether or not neutrality exists (it obviously doesn't), it's more that institutions feign neutrality and then everyone plays pretend that they are when in reality everyone knows they aren't, including said institutions themselves

The point.

well that's why i said "it seems like a nothingburger". obviously the reason most people don't care is because half the people who "would care" literally supported the original action anyway. what are they gonna do, be like "actually this thing we supported is wrong because...you showed an email exposing that we supported it?" it's not a shocker to anyone because EVERYONE knew it was happening. it's only "shocking" in the sense that they were brazen enough to know their feign of neutrality was bullshit (which again everyone knew)

got tired of clicking show more once i hit 2021

I did got tired too but Fox News reported on the laptop a lot was my point to say they didn't is simply untrue
So what’s the verdict on this story @krishna_bound @1887
its obviously real but its nothing people didn't already know, its just brazen how openly it was admitted behind the scenes
Aside from the Hunter stuff, I don't get how you can care about stuff like this at all, but people are eating it up, I mean I like KTT2 but I'm totally indifferent to how much traffic it receives, but Elon fans are buzzing about this as if their team just won a game
him tweeting this like some kind of fun prime time drama really downplays what could have been presented as some serious evidence of corporate corruption or malfeasance

https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1598765633121898496lol I don't love Elon for many reasons but when you are a publicly traded company that many think will fail internet traffic, impressions, ad revenue and twitter blue revenue does matter
Those rooting for Twitter to fail is also a lot of people losing jobs

the issue becomes people not going to read it if its on substack so you kind of have to tweet it out

i feel like while that's true he could have just dropped it all at once
i feel like while that's true he could have just dropped it all at once
people can only digest so much at once thread would be 100 tweets long all at once
Most threads I dont even read but if I saw one was 100 tweets long I would be like "where the summary " or a twitter scroll lol
I mean duh lmao and nothing came from that either. You wanna investigate sure. But not push a bs story at the 11th bc it’s the only way you think that you’ll win. Also btw Hilary would have lost without it.
I don’t think so

Former Twitter execs cleaning up for the dirty libs. What's new!

https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1598765633121898496Probably because every fake news media outlet reported that Twitter was minutes away from collapsing
wasn't one of elon's big twitter pitches being able to attach longform documents/written pieces to your tweets and bypass the character limit? why are they going to slow with this
I assume because he fired a bunch of people or they quit
