that's why it shouldn't even be a debate about prince bring a goat over any other artist from his era. there were others too in the 80s like bruce or public enemy, but he was the most influential, iconic one consistently expressing his ideas with no writers needed.

we all enjoy all the other music, but we shouldn't underrate how major it is to have an artist like Prince just cos some of our favourite artists could never be on his level. I'd love to see another Prince one day
