Yes...Eminem's music ain't been that amazing since the 8 Mile soundtrack but he's always showed respect to the genre and he stayed saying F*** Trump while some of our faves caved into MAGA.
Eminem's not even in my top 5(in my top 10 though) but ya'll gotta stop conflating his obnoxious stans for Em himself. Em himself disavowed his stans 20 years ago..lol.
No lies in this post. Most of it stems from him being the biggest white rapper. When people try and use Em’s whiteness against him, it’s pretty f***ing corny honestly. Like not only is it lame as f*** to do, it’s also the easiest thing to try to criticism someone.
Em clearly has love for the genre and has done more for the culture than a lot of dudes regardless of race. If you’re gonna let your weird obsession with keeping rap a black-only space or let his fans cloud your impression of him, you probably already have some poor rap takes truthfully. He deserves criticism for a lot of s*** and I think he owns up to most of it (by evidence of his Rihanna apology) but those two things aren’t fair ones imo
