whatsup with the formatting of brackets? They don't show up for me at all

and asterisks turn into bullet points when phones and computers have this option already, I feel like they shouldn't be replaced as they're pretty important in online speech

ill fix putting stuff in square brackets. but have you never used discord or anything with markdown before?

how often do you start lines with an asterisk and a space though? and even apple notes app does this. but hyphens work for that so i can drop asterisks too

but you can just put a \ before anything to stop it being interpreted as formatting

nah Im not familiar but I forgot how bad that formatting was on ktt1 tho

but the asterisks thing is weird cause its used for multiple ways like emphasis or censorship, i feel like I barely see bullet points used on here really

tbf italics are for emphasis too though, i think that's why *this* is even a thing

there'll be a wysiwyg text editor for threads (OPs) with a lot more formatting options, and maybe after that i'll make a more basic one for replies. we already had one before launch, but mobile was too buggy (mainly android)

do u keep accidentally making bullet points tho? an example would be helpful bc maybe it's something that shouldn't happen anyway

How long till we have post preview and quote edit options?

i've been using chrome with ublock the entirety of my time on this site and today twitter embeds stop working for me? i tried turning off ublock but they still didnt show up.

any ideas?

edit: able to see tweets on safari but i'd like to continue using my browser with adblock

edit 2: Seems to be working after giving Twitter a pass in Ghostery. Never had to change the settings before though.

anyone else having issues embedding images and or seeing posts with embedded images?
