I really like him as an actor but I think what you described is what makes him work really well in certain roles like Banshees or Sacred Deer. And I hate to admit but I think he gets miscast in other things. He is really talented and it must suck as an actor to feel like you are typecast as the creep, but that is so far where he has done his best work in my opinion.
bro is really the young creep typecast
He’s a good actor tho, reckon hell be one of the goats in his later years
Also actor who played farleigh killed it
He was the main character in Gran Turismo too. Big year for him
reading this made me like the movie a little bit more.. esp the parts about style vs substance and the breakdown of all the greek mythology references

He certainly has room to grow. I think when he loses a bit of his younger appearance he can develop a bit in other areas. I feel similarly about Timothée Chalamet. Although he is a bit more popular and more widely received in different kinds of roles, I find him a bit restricted for my tastes in certain roles due to his younger sensibilities. Leonardo DiCaprio was like that for me too. He was always a talented actor like Keoghan and Chalamet, but his berth of range expanded as he matured.
yeaa
Throw pattinson, labeouf, lakeith, elordi in there too
The late 20s to 30s generation has soo many talented actors. They’re all into daring roles too
Eloridi ain’t it as a lead actor imo. He’s just the kid from that HBO show for me
Between Barry, Pine and Hugh Grant he came across like a teen wolf level actor

Leo really was like that for a bit too lol but when we got to The Departed, he could be cast in anything.

Yeah he retired after the Nazi stuff and turned to a film reviewer.
Deleted all his old ye videos as well.

Totally. His voice and physical maturation gave him more range. I look at Chalamet and I get the hype, but just think he could do more once he doesn’t have the appearance of a teenager. I see him in something like Dune and just don’t buy it. I get the character is a young man, but he just seems like a kid. Kyle MacLachlan was around the same age when he did Dune, but he seemed more like young man than a teenager. Once he & Keoghan age up physically I think they’ll have a wider range.

Chalamet about to be 28 I think and it feels like he still hasn't hit puberty yet lol

Crazy that he is older than Paul Mescal
Crazy that he is older than Paul Mescal
I honestly thought Chalamet was in his early to mid 20s. Like 20 to 25 max lol.
