He went #1 in Nigeria, for instance.
By your logic, we're all White people who listen to only Eminem then.
It's a stupid argument, G.
So 1 out of 20+ countries isn’t majority white and that proves my argument false?
since when is publicly played music a factor of good music ?
bro all about that bass is everywhere outside, goat'd
I didn’t wanna use the “go outside” argument because it’s played out and dumb, but it literally applies here.
People are not listening to Eminem’s newer music besides his core white fans that don’t like rap music outside of him
You guys need to grab a note book and go outside and ask Eminem fans if they can name another rapper, you are going to be surprised.
yeah he has so many listeners yet no one is talking about the great rapping that's oh so different from same old same old 2010s eminem on those 2 albums ( MTBMB side a and b ?)
gimme a break
You should've never wasted time arguing with a self hating African that has a boner for the Queen.
So 1 out of 20+ countries isn’t majority white and that proves my argument false?
You said only. Look at your post again.
If you want to amend your argument to say most of his fans are White, then newsflash, most of the people that listen to Jay Z are White.
S***, a Black Thought concert is mostly made up of White poeple.
Eh, because of the events, the pushbacks, and all the wild s*** he was doing.
What we got is a long ass album about religion with a few good tracks and lots of filler. The event was dope though, the last one for Donda, wonder how much money he spent on that.
Your opinion of the album is subjective, that’s not the point.
The album was still (mostly) reviewed positively and is still on the Top 200 to this day, meaning it’s relevancy proved to be more than just the drama surrounding its’ release

Niggas just reaching for s*** to say

Wait, you got stats to back that jay z claim ?

Remove the buzz from crazy Kanye and you have a weak long ass album with a nice event. And the previous one was even worse.
You should've never wasted time arguing with a self hating African that has a boner for the Queen.
You're weird, G. I don't even know who you are.
Wait, you got stats to back that jay z claim ?
Jay Z concerts, and the fact that most of the American population is White?
Jay Z concerts, and the fact that most of the American population is White?
see if you actually did your research you'd know that's barely not true in 2022 lol.
i find it funny that em threads always pop on this site tho
because em stans are some of the most elitist and stuckup fans on this site.

Terrible argument.
Jay Z is still a very relevant figure in black culture and in the hip-hop world in general. He just had the entire rap world in a frenzy over his verse on God Did, and Eminem was on the very next song and didn’t even make a tenth of the same noise surrounding his verse

cope
dude is still mad relevant lol
see if you actually did your research you'd know that's barely not true in 2022 lol.
There’s no way he believes Jay Z’s fans are primarily white

Aren't you tired of always being wrong?

My nigga, what?
The argument isn't about Jay Z's comparative relevance. Stay on topic.
since when is publicly played music a factor of good music ?

You’re misunderstand the argument.
HIS argument was that Eminem is still very popular so therefore he must be still making good music.
My argument is that yes, he’s still ridiculously popular, but 97% of the people still listening to Eminem’s CURRENT music are white people who don’t like rap music but like Eminem.
I never claimed Eminem isn’t popular, I claimed that he isn’t relevant among the people who genuinely care about rap music in 2022
My nigga, what?
The argument isn't about Jay Z's comparative relevance. Stay on topic.
My argument is that Eminem is not relevant in the modern hip-hop world and that the majority of his listeners are people who don’t care about rap music as a whole.
So yes, it is relevant that Jay Z is way more culturally relevant in the hip hop space than Eminem has been in 10+ years
