HIS argument was that Eminem is still very popular so therefore he must be still making good music.

My argument is that yes, he’s still ridiculously popular, but 97% of the people still listening to Eminem’s CURRENT music are white people who don’t like rap music but like Eminem.

I never claimed Eminem isn’t popular, I claimed that he isn’t relevant among the people who genuinely care about rap music in 2022

My argument is that Eminem is not relevant in the modern hip-hop world and that the majority of his listeners are people who don’t care about rap music as a whole.

So yes, it is relevant that Jay Z is way more culturally relevant in the hip hop space than Eminem has been in 10+ years

But I did back it up. I provided U.S. demographic info according to the most recent census and extrapolated from there, added my (admittedly anecdotal experience at Jay Z shows). My argument is that, in a country with predominantly White people, most of the consumers will inevitably be White.

Google "Jay Z tour crowd" and take a look.

Jay Z has went viral like once a year every single year for the past 4 years for a feature verse. The hip hop world stops and tunes in whenever he has a new verse out.

That does not determine what makes up majority of your fanbase my nigga.

Most hip hop crowds are gonna look white due to accessibility issues that are primarily specific towards America. (once again, things you don't know about)

Let's pose a different question, if Jay Z had a show in Brooklyn for free/1.99 how will the crowd look then?

killshot was a diss record towards mgk during their beef

iirc people said eminem ruined conway's song with the beatswitch and his verse

eminem didnt perform new music at the superbowl, he did however push his nft and new song at the vmas with snoop dogg (idk how the song is doing but it seems like no one gives af)
