Em "stans" (emphasize stans not normal loyal fans) are different, you'll probably won't catch them at any of these events nor any of these artist songs because their priority is em, not hip hop.
Em is of course still global, on the same scale Britney spears is still global. =>most of their fans are pop/rock casuals that have a preference for em/Britney and grew up on them, mtv broadcasted them to the world whilst lowballing artists of color

I only went back and listenend to some 90s rappers. Never really checked 80s rap except for NWA.
I like to stay up to date. But ever since trap took over I've been taking a break from rap.

Rakim and kool G Rap, NWA, were in their prime in the 90s as well.
