JID is literally Kendrick for artists that don’t wanna shell out the cash for a Kendrick feature
on wich song he said that s*** about skylar i miss that
It was definitely one of the first couple

F*** it, I really like this album.
Even the sentimental songs grew on me. They are really heartfelt. Talking about his adopted daughters,
God damn. I'm just happy he didn't fumble the bag. EM DELIVERED. Slim delivered.
God fkn bless. I'm loving this s***. F*** it man. I can see myself listening to this over the next while.
Great piece in Em's discography. I always think about David Bowie's longevity when it comes to dropping good albums throughout the years, or like Jay Z.
Just kind of zooming out and seeing the bigger picture of a musician's career when they retire. Over their entire life.
Regardless of the topics/political things that elicit almost programmed reactions in people.
Em's pen game is on point here, he has never dropped off in that regard. Em and Wayne are both just amazing linguists. Creative as f*** minds. Clever wordplay and all that s***, not many whiffs on here like the dad joke window pane/pain wordplay.
Em sounds like he has that DOG IN him
JID is literally Kendrick for artists that don’t wanna shell out the cash for a Kendrick feature
and he also more likeable and younger for new generation audiences
even tik tok friendly i would say
i like jid and i think he's a cool person but he still needs to branch out more of his fast paced flows and try smth experimental (and i dont mean that imagine dragons bullshit lmao)
Holy s***. First track on THIS REALLY SLIM
Even the tone of his voice. Sounds like his younger days tbh
They resonated with me on the FIRST listen…
I may revise that after another.
My issue is that Em just keeps on treading the same old ground, same old topics. Like, switch it up…
He should’ve killed his alter-ego right after ‘Recovery’ or instead of ‘Encore’.
Top 5, if not the GOAT, technically but, man, Shady, you’re not a victim, homie - they can “cancel” you all they want but you’ll still go platinum, you’ll still eat. We get it, you love Hallie, etc.
I get it’s a concept album but give me an Eminem that isn’t solely focused on himself or his psyche.
Eminem hasn't had anything to rap about for well over a decade. The last was his addiction with Relapse and he still going back to that well + other topics that he's talked to death for literally all his career.
Hearing too many comparisons to Recovery to think this album is anything worth listening to.
I actually like recovery lol. But I don’t see who would compare this to that. Completely different imo
