I like encore but over sslp??
So pretty much the same as his last album
It’s his most consistent since MMLP2, but that’s not saying a whole lot
I actually enjoyed it more than expected, liked nearly every song up to Guilty Conscience 2 (minus road rage that song is awful) but it really falls down a cliff after that. I like Tobey & the Jelly Roll song but they feel tacked on and don’t fit the theme. If they were listed as bonus tracks it’d be better I think. Without those tracks after GC2 it’d be a 8/10 but with them I’m leaning toward a 5-6/10
Tracks I’m keeping:
Renaissance
Habits
Trouble
Brand New Dance
Evil
All You Got (Skit)
Lucifer
Antichrist
Fuel
Houdini
Breaking News (Skit)
Guilty Conscience 2
Tobey
Guess Who’s Back (Skit)
Somebody Save Me
with no physicals right?
pretty cool how the album just loops from the ending of somebody save me:
" And farther in the ground that I sink
As they lower me in my coffin, I feel the tears all fallin' down on my cheek"
To the Intro Renaissance with Slim Shady rising from the grave
The eternal struggle
Good production
Good flows
No weird accents
Cool concept
A good Eminem album was not on my BINGO card
I always thought that with just a few adjustments he could take his music from dogshit, to something cool, cause the talent is always undeniable, he's just lacked the taste to utilize it
I'm not even the biggest fan of his classic s***
Props to Shady
Fav tracks:
Renaissance
Brand New Dance

Guilty Conscience 2
Bad One
Tobey
Somebody Save Me
Real one for making it flow in reverse , gunna be a shady night part two is part one this time
Em doing almost 300k without physicals, love to see it
Word. As a long time Eminem fan, i'm happy for his success this late into his career. He deserves it.
And yeah, it definitely looks like we're gonna get some type of deluxe edition to the album too, similar to what he did with the "Music To Be Murdered By" series.

there’s no CDs at the stores?
Could have been a classic if it kept it didn’t fall off after Guilty Conscience 2. Still a great album and thoroughly enjoying it as a whole. I actually do think the AI Slim Shady use is pretty creative and Em executed it pretty well. Interested to see what the future music videos are gonna be like.
with no physicals right?
Don’t care what the critics say this is em best album since before the 2010’s
Definitely in his top 5
Not something I would listen to everyday but definitely a good concept album with some fluff hear and there
It’s confirmed not old vocals based on credits in the booklet. AI is speculation. Rhyme book also speculation, but likely 2003 based on flow and reference (June 2003 dangling of baby out of the window to mock MJ, Durag etc) before later in the verse switching to more modern rhymes.

slight changes but think this would improve the experience by quite a bit. Can't help but feel fatigued by the time guilty conscious 2 ends because it seems like the end of the story and the rest of the tracks don't really add much to it narrative wise. I feel like playing Tobey and Temporary right after sort of gives album the necessary closure without dragging too much. Temporary ties it to the end of SSLP with the 'a lot of people ask me am I afraid of death...' so it's perfect as the last song imo
