i im amazed how much people here love recovery

many old rap albums would be viewed negativly today - everybody is easy offended ...... i prefer old times - people dont giving a s*** that much

They were viewed negatively by critics back then aswell, lol.

People that say stuff like " MMLP/EMINEM Show is his only good album" are the same people that would be bashing them back in the days.

True, a tiny minority of critics did negatively review his first two albums, although society back then was nowhere near as soft and sensitive as it is today

Revival is mostly ass but I at least remember Castles and Arose somewhat positively

I don't remember liking anything on MMLP2 personally, and besides Berzerk and Rap God I can't even remember what any of the songs really sound like... and I relistened to the thing only like 3 weeks ago

Much like MMLP2, I can't actually remember feeling positively about more than maybe one track on that, and also much like MMLP2, I relistened to it a few weeks back.

I actually prefer the two Bad Meets Evil tracks on the Southpaw OST than anything they did for Hell 2, tbh

That ending of Bad Guy gives me chills til this day.

As someone who’s hated Eminem’s newer s*** and thought he basically destroyed his legacy. This wasn’t bad. Some genuinely good songs and rapping that wasn’t just lyrical miracle and corny stretched punchlines. Some of the concept and anti cancelling stuff was a lil corny but not enough to make me turn it off.
It’s miles better than a lot of the stuff he’s dropped but still a ways away from his best s***. That first song was good and i actually liked the features more than i thought. Brand new dance legit felt like a throwback in a really good way

I’ve seen people talking about the idea of listening to the tracklist in reverse and it telling a different story, it’s interesting but honestly i thought both Kendrick and Lupe did that better

Hopefully we get more music but with some good features and more dr.dre production
