Re up had a lot of great flows and wordplay from him
Jimmy Crack Corn was originally an Encore song. If you listen to all the references they are all to 03 stuff (right thurr, on fire, shady ltd, Benzino)
There is footage of him and d12 writing to the beat in the studio during the making of d12 world.
Only the intro and outro referencing the re up project are new vocals from him.
I wonder which other songs from that era besides JCC and No Apologies were reused

I mean I wouldn't go to Re-Up for the Eminem songs personally. he's one of the weaker parts of that album imo. the new cats (at the time) and Alchemist did their thing on that album.
Talkin all That by Ca$his is like a quintessential 2000's hip hop song

I'm lowkey glad we ended up with Rain Man and Big Weenie on Encore lmao they definitely take the album down a notch but those are awesome songs for any Em fan

How many people you know who can name every serial
Killer who ever existed in a row?
Put 'em in chronological order, beginnin' with Jack the Ripper
Name the time and place; from the body, the bag, the zipper
Location of the woods, where the body was dragged and then dumped
The trunk that they were stuffed in, the model, the make, the plate
And which model, which lake they found her in, how they attacked the victim
Say which murder weapon was used to do what in which one
Which knife and which gun, what kid, what wife, and which nun
Don't stop, I like this, it's fun, the f***in' night's just begun

PIPPITYCACAPOOPOO
The one thing you can say about that era is Eminem could say the most absurd s*** and still flow at the most godly level.
“What the f*** you eat for lunch a bunch of f***ing crunch n munch?” section on big weenie is classic.
Also on my 1st single somehow he achieves some of his best flows on that godawful beat
“Shady the label aftermath is the stable, where the horses come out of errrup of course I’m about to stir up some s*** thick as miss butters worth syrup”

Bad Meets Evil
Still Don't Give A F***
one of the best runs on any Em album
The one nitpick I have is the way his mix on the verses sound. His voice sounds clear on the hook but on the verses after multiple listens, it sounds a little…flat to me? Idk
Is this a safe space
? Cuz WTP is one of my fave songs Em ever did man, s*** is funny as hell

Mixing has been one of the biggest issues with him since Recovery era.
Unfortunately the only two people he lets mix himself is Dre or himself.
He has horrible tinnitus and can’t hear the music right to mix himself anymore the way he used to be able to.
So when Dre isn’t mixing it, the mix is always awful.
He even mixes other artist tracks when he does features and they send it to him, he doesn’t allow anybody to touch his vocals once he sends them

It’s aged well compared to the rest of recovery
His rapping was peak in Devils Night. Perfect synergy of MMLP and TES styles
S*** Can Happen
American Psycho
Fight Music
Elite raps

8 Mile is peak but devils night is close.
But lose yourself, love me, rap game, rabbit run, and 8 mile rd are untouchable

Yea, if his voice was a little different you could confuse it for an Encore track or sum
Imma be honest I had no idea this website had so much Em historians lmaoo y'all bringing up tracks I ain't heard in years

American Psycho’s beat was one of those “oh s***” moments for me as a kid. The way those keys land on the drums at the end of every 4 bar is crack to me

Kon Artists's verse on that is kinda crazy too
