I been going on an Eminem binge lately since ive been just hating on him ever since houdini dropped. I realized Eminem barely had any skippable tracks before the 2010s. Relapse is underrated and was a fun unique approach with maybe 4 really bad songs like insane, we made you, medicine ball and crack a bottle mid. Otherwise solid album. Encore had goofy tracks but the goofy songs were made out of despite from his songs being leaked, but honestly those goofy songs were at least funny, entertaining and his flow was still good at the time. But lets fast forward to 2013 to now. Heres all the songs from each album that i kept but rest in the trash...i realized each project has maybe 7 or 8 good ones.

It was not good, just popular. His last good/great album was The Eminem Show. That was 2002..
Where is Evil Twin
OP thank you. I was super hyped for MMLP2. One of the worst albums I ever heard at the time. Easily the worst sequel album ever.
Always made me laugh how people were surprised about how bad Revival was when the writing has been on the wall since MMLP2

Genuinely curious to what music you actually listen to?

I have to agree. That 2013-2014 era was pretty much the notice of Em’s songwriting decline. Bad hooks, overtly technical raps that meant choppy off-beat flows, just a lot of multisyllabic battle rapping with no focus, etc.
I wonder if Revival wasn’t filled with anti-Trump sentiment, would the album been received better by his fanbase.
