Eminem wanted to play like Elvis and he's already seeing the return of that.
Some people really don't took kindly to him trolling like that...
I think that just like with Elvis, haters are responding to the white privilege (chuck D said so himself) the hate should be directed to the industry instead of eminem/Elvis but the sentiment will always be attached to them (despite eminem having admitted to knowing so, it's like when macklemore knew kendrick should've won the grammy, them knowing doesn't matter, that sentiment of injustice will prevail)

Mind you, Elvis doesn't even have a racist past (according to my research
It's interesting to see how this narrative will play out in the future...

i been black my whole life, from black ass Newark, NJ and i dont know many people my age or older who was actively jacking his music from the time I was a kid in the mid 2000s to now, and his fan base online are extremely anti-hip hop and racist af

i'm sure he has a lot of normal fans too tho with a fanbase that big. it's a shame cos Em comes across like he loves hip hop and came out against trump pretty quickly, probably knowing it would hurt his sales.

yeah honestly I have not issues with eminem outside of his recent music, but this new narrative that his detractors are all white teens who wanna impress black people is hilarious knowing how toxic and outright racist a large amount of his stans online have been for over a decade
