The hook is the verse, and the melodic flow be in the same key and cadence for a full 4minute hook of depression.

NoirHonestly I really hate what came out of the emo rap scene. Some great music but so much loss and fetishization of depression. I was also way too old for it by the time it peaked. I think if I was younger and related to it more I would be much more nostalgic for it.
Rage is ridiculous but I enjoy it more because I like the energy there.
Emo Rap could also be related to OG Gangsta Rap, cause them niggas was emotional as f***.
