Is Imamoglu not a decent option, I’m not familiar with his politics I just remember the story when he got arrested before the previous elections

He's aight. The CHP are social democrats and are not going as hard on Arabs/immigrants as the right opposition but want more control over the borders and s*** - the best option out of the relevant parties imo even if I don't agree with them on some s***. Only problem is that the party has a history of being NATO slaves/wannabe westoids but they had a big rebrand in the last decade so who knows. They just cleared tf outta the local elections yesterday too so it seems like a huge step which is still a progress from AKP regime I guess but there are still 4 years left til the presidental elections which will be the final moment

There is a stereotype of Turkish diaspora having a really good time in Turkey because their money is more valuable than lira due to Inflation so they party heavy buy a lot of clothes and do s*** they can’t do in their living countries and the citizens hate them for it cause most of em are usually Erdogan fanatics who claim that Turks have it good and are ungrateful even though the monthly inflation rate ranges from 60-85%, corruption is going crazy, free speech is getting limited and the buying power is s***. they don’t live under these conditions but still stan him and vote for him on presidental elections (they can do when they got turkish citizenship) even though they don’t live there. And that guy is making a joke out of that because when Erdogan is gone the economy could ideally become better again which means he can’t do his thang there.
