Everything I said in OP is 100% factual but you want me silenced because you’re programmed by the media and can’t see what it is for yourself

this is a lie, she has 1.5m albums avaliable in the US, she has not sold all that stock yet. What's being counted is what's purchased, that is literally how the billboard rules work.

I don't even like Adele but y'all are being very weird, the demographic of people that listen to Adele is people that still buy cds.

500k+ pure sales in the streaming era is insane, people went out of their way to buy 500k+ copies of an album, not bundles, copies of an album. She's also #1 on both AM and Spotify, I don't know how this is "flopping" compared to either album named in op.

Young Dolph(RIP) and the Kyle Rittenhouse trial hurt Adele's rollout.

Jay dropped the blueprint on 9/11

I actually drove over to the bootleg man that was by Queens Center mall around 7 that night.

Skies were still smoky and not many people were out.

I needed that new Hov tho.

I remember sitting on my stoop and smoking a blunt while I listened to it watching the fighter jets patrol the skies thinking the world was about to end

Y’all really think the average adele listener wasn’t pressed af on twitter after the rittenhouse verdict?

What kind of comparison is this

I swear yall just throwing darts at a wall for threads now

he's saying Adele dropping doesn't impact the culture... which isn't a lie. If she never dropped again not many would care compared to if Uzi never dropped again

edit: was only using Uzi as an example you can put almost any rapper there and my statement would still be true

Crazy how I only listened to ea the week it dropped

s*** was the definition of mid

  • Nov 24, 2021

Adele would sell like 40K if the industry didn’t cheat. They got mad at jay for selling a million copies to Samsung but Adele can make a career out of “physical sales”

Hopefully this begins the death knell for bland, forced, soccer mom pop music. Adele, Swift, and The Weeknd are the last of a dying breed whose times are coming expeditiously

Dont group either of them with Adele but absolutely don’t group Abel with Adele lol

i could argue that Eternal Atake drop eclipses both of those releases. That project along with After Hours are pandemic classics both in terms of commercial and critical success

Didn’t juice WRLD and Pop Smoke both have way bigger albums than these two? Why OP even use them as examples

Adele broke the spotify record for the biggest first day streams on a song with easy on me where as Uzi's newest song is already out of the top 50 so idk about that

Taylor just went #1 with a 10 minute version of a 9 year old song and had the biggest streaming debut for any album of a female artist period on spotify, said album was literally a rerecording.

Don't know how that indicates that her "time is coming" but ok

I don’t like Taylor but I do admit her fanbase and reaction towards her music is actually organic compared to Adele’s.

Taylor is like a female Drake where it’s like yeah the music might just be aight, the fanbase might be trash, but you can’t deny the love is genuine
