Some people have asked me if I'm native. I don't look native but most people in my area have at least some native blood, and most of my friends are native so I think they just deduce that I am too.
I’m Italian and have been mistaken for Hispanic pretty often. Both Mexican and Puerto Rican. I personally don’t see it at all but it usually comes from people who are Hispanic themselves so what do I know.

irl: only time I got mistaken for a non asian race was when I was working at a bakery in one of the whitest cities in the bay. I bussed this old mans table and this mfer looked and me and said “Gracias amigo” I just started laughing didn’t even tell him I was asian. Tbh it was more hilarious to me than offensive. They really never seen an asian person before. I prolly seen like two asian families come into the bakery the whole year I worked there.
on ktt: I’m pretty open about being asian/korean on here but every once in a while when I mention I’m asian someone will always be like I always thought you were black. happened to me yesterday.
