My country was a British and portuguese colony and while they did procreate with locals it was only in specific coastal towns, my family comes from a completely different area, our ethnic group is known for jus hving lighter skinned people

properirl: only time I got mistaken for a non asian race was when I was working at a bakery in one of the whitest cities in the bay. I bussed this old mans table and this mfer looked and me and said “Gracias amigo” I just started laughing didn’t even tell him I was asian. Tbh it was more hilarious to me than offensive. They really never seen an asian person before. I prolly seen like two asian families come into the bakery the whole year I worked there.
