flights are dirt cheap, you will waste a lot of time driving around like that
that’s what I figured should I buy flights day of leaving city
or do the more responsible/cheaper, but less spontaneous planning of flights before hand
also how feasible is it driving city to city in a week
say Munich to Barcelona
flights within europe are dirt cheap, you can fly from most major cities for 10 to 30 euros at least it was like that before the pandemic
Sometimes it surprises me how much of an issue that still is... sadly.
Lol like id rather go on a racism-free vacation

if you wanna pass a bit cheaper, plan them and purchase tickets ahead of time, and go through set destinations.
just find whatever flight is cheapest,it really isnt expensive at all to travel around europe, driving around is gonna cost you a lot more
if its not a secret where are u from feels familliar
i'm from bosnia, i guess i should've specified "south-eastern europe" then. but i've been around europe a lot bc of school and work, the paris trip was a "gift" from the mayor for excelling students. we were mostly in lille tho, the paris trip lasted like a day or two

balkan brother, hopefully we'll see better days ahead
What are you into? I did 13 countries after college for 2 months
Edinburgh in Scotland has Arthurs Seat to view entire city, massive castle, and from what I could tell a nice night life
Hiking in Wales was awesome
Can never go wrong with Ireland..literally anywhere
Italy is either Rome, Florence, or Venice for me, unless you are bouncing way south to Capri/Naples
Amsterdam was tight, spent about a week out in that area. Can essentially ride a bike everywhere and pop into any coffee shop
Stayed with friends in Germany & Slovenia so more go with the flow with that
Would advise selecting 1-3 places in close proximity so you worry less about travel and more about what you are seeing
Not really, Czech Republic, Poland, the Balkan countries etc are considered Eastern Europe
No, Poland and Czech are central European
Check out the older town cities. Prague and Florence are f***ing beautiful. When you come from a modern city it’s a sick experience to get encapsulated in those environments
Brazil
Don't go to the biggest city of a country, they all filled with annoying as f*** tourists.
Instead visit smaller cities, or don't, don't say I didn't warn you.
First time I was there as a regular tourist, the last few times I was there because some of my friends moved there
Clubbing scene in Berlin is extremely overhyped online and it really isn't anything special tbh. I'd even argue that other German cities like Hamburg go harder in that regard Other countries too, I've had better club nights in Spain, Russia and the Czech Republic tbh
Kreuzberg/Neukölln are alright I guess but both of those places got gentified to s***
I will agree with you that berlin continues to get gentrified and is in serious danger of losing it's unique spirit more than it already has. in fairness, I've only been to munich as far as other german cities so can't compare that much. however as a new yorker, berlin is one of the only cities I've been to that feels similarly special but i also believe it's cultural prime ended around 2010
Paris isnt this ethereal city of romance and beauty like it is in the movies. Its very dirty and the people are rude with no patience. Theres literally a phenomenon of people going to paris and being deceived

Bro that is a Japanese thing. While I agree with you, this literally happens to one cohort of tourist.
But yeah Paris sucks

Just because the japanese put a name to it doesnt mean other tourists dont feel finessed when they get to paris
