ok lmk when you can make that work
I just need relegation to really affect the sort of clubs going for this format, because they more or less have a closed system in their domestic leagues already. If the last 15 or so years of mismanagement can't break either Arsenal or United, what hope does football have as it is?

Would have been nice if clubs got together and made their own Champions League instead without all the Americanised BS attached to this project. and just ditch UEFA

Would've been much less uproar. Nobody gaf about UEFA so that would've easily been pulled off.

if you enjoy baseball, then yes you have a problem

United aren't broken at all, they've spent more than anyone else bar City since Ferguson left. They've gotten away with things most football clubs would only dream of getting away with in terms of financial mismanagement.

Only if the teams had to actually earn their way into the competition the same way

You’ve been the most emotionally unstable person in here lol how am I mad?
To be fair it has grown useless over the years, Aston Villa's relegation was probably the last time a fairly historical club got relegated. If Arsenal and United had gotten relegated after doing nothing but stinking up the place the last few years, football would be so much better for all
united and arsenal have been massively successful for years and built up their reputation worldwide, with that comes money and the ability to acquire players that would prevent relegation from happening. that is the reward for continued success and having a legitimate global following.
the current setup isnt perfect, and the clubs with the most money still dominate, but on their day any club can beat anyone. thats the magic of football.
losing is meant to hurt, thats what makes winning so great. if there is no penalty for losing then there is no satisfaction around winning. whats the point? a closed shop is so fundamentally wrong, its the complete opposite of what football means to me and most people.

I 100% agree with you on the spending as the Glazers are probably the worst business man in premier league history but you don’t think this kind of thing has taken a toll on us fans who base success on winning football matches and not how much money we have like your proposing?
Also 6 British teams in the super league? Half of them suck
You already know that s*** all just about how many fans they got
Wow you’re a genius lol
